Chances for admission . . .?

IM from new york, and i go to a prestigious catholic college prep highschool. My class rank is about 12 of , i have a gpa of 3.86 and have taken a rigouous courseload ( All honors and AP)

My SAT scores are Math-640 CR-560 ( 1200)

My application essay will be amazing ( about a charity i started when i was 7 donating to poor countries in Europe)

I have played baseball all 4 years, Indoor track and Golf.
I am involveed in several Clubs including Harvard Model UN, FBLA( leadership position), National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, French Honor Society, and Music Honor Society.
I have been in band and jazz band. I have recieved Primary and secondary honor roll every quarter in highschool and have been awarded student of the month.

I'd say impossibly low chances with that SAT score, especially if you're not a URM, legacy, or a recruited athlete.

You can't know that your essay will be amazing before you write it. You can write about a great topic and it can still be terrible. Also, your writing will be compared to that of the best writers in the country. Will it really hold up to that scrutiny? I'm sure the vast majority of applicants are very strong writers.

Your essay may be amazing, but I bet a lot of people overestimate how good theirs is in comparison to the competition. Also, a great essay won't make up for the rest of the application being lackluster.

Also, I agree with rd31's analysis.
