chances for admission

i've wanted to go to uf since i was little and admission time is almost here ! it's been a long journey and i was hoping that some students can help me with chances [ i'm from in state]

GPA weighted : 4.4 uf style
AP classes : 5 by the end of this year
ACT: 26
EC's: pretty much everything you can imagine: gymnastics, ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, chorus since 9th grade with state awards, select choir recognitions, and showchoir choreographing, HOSA, french club, teen trendsetters, NHS, Tri-M Music honor society
Community service: tons ! 187 hours and counting.

i know my ACT score kinda hurts, and our school didn't really have tons of AP classes to offer. i have also been in a french for 3 years, above the required two years.

thanks for your input. hopefully everything will be alright feb 13th!

Great GPA as you know but the relatively low ACT drops your chances pretty significantly. I'd say you have between a 65-75% shot..definitely over 50% as long as your in-state. I also took 3 years of french + french club president so hopefully you can share my result :p (an acceptance letter)..Bonne chance mademoiselle

80% chance, I hope you get in!

If you are not a URM, then only a 30% chance in my honest opinion.

i have a 31 act, 5.5 gpa 8 aps rank 94% of the class i also have 480 hours community services and i speak fluently french and spanish. i am learning chinese this year .. i have a ton of leadership and i am very anxious about my admission at UF! UF is like a reach for me.. last year a lot of very qualified students did not get in.

GOOD LUCK!

What is URM? Sorry for being kinda out of it..

minorities like latin, black, asian....

URM stands for under-represented minorities. What is defined as a URM, for the purposes of college admissions/enrollment stats, differs from state to state. At UF, URM's that are under represented are African-americans and American Indians.

I think UF prefers a high gpa/low act combination to low gpa/high act combination, so I'd give you a greater than 50% chance.
