My chances of getting in.

<p>I have:</p>

<p>-1200/1730 on my SAT (680 on math, 520 on reading, and 530 on writing) and I am going to retake it as well as take the ACT in October.</p>

<p>-I go to a private school so my GPA may be calculated differently, My weighted GPA is about a 3.7 or 3.8 and my unweighted is about a 3,2.
EDIT, i recalculated my GPA according to how UF calculates it, assuming that they also punch in the grades from your first semester of senior year, Ill have about a 3.6ish</p>

<p>-Im taking several Honors and AP courses this year.</p>

<p>-I have somewhere around 300 to 400 service hours ( i have to check) The main chunk of which came from a 2 week missionary trip to Peru I did over the summer. I also accumulatred hem through alter serving since 5th grade, judging in middle school debate tournaments, and helping in several school activitis.</p>

<p>-I have two strong leadership positions: I am the executivve producer for my schools news network (which i have been on for my 3rd year this year. AND i am the co-founder of my schools enviromental club.</p>

<p>-I have been on my schools debate team for my 3rd year this year and my schools news studio for my 3rd year this year.</p>

<p>-I have a leter of reccomendation from my Pricipal (who is a Marist Brother) and am getting one from my councilor, my Honors history teacher, and probably my math teacher</p>

<p>Underrepresented minority, though I believe in recent years this has been relaxed due to actions by Jeb prohibiting race-based admissions.</p>

<p>well minority wise both my parents are surprisingly half Asian half Hispanic(Peruvian to be exact), so that pretty much makes me half Asian half Hiapanic</p>

<p>Surprisingly we all look more Hispanic than anything else.</p>

<p>As I posted in the other thread, this year admissions are tightening up a lot, and no, your chances are not looking so good.</p>
