I am a junior in high school and I’m taking an SAT class starting in June, but I would like to know how likely I would get into the New Brunswick campus for Rutgers and what should my goal for my new SAT score be. I have a 3.7 weighted and I took the January SAT and got a 1220, 580 in math and 640 in reading. I am almost certain I need a higher score, but I want to know what exactly I should shoot for. I’m interested in applying to the School of Sciences and Arts and possibly the business school. I also am curious about taking SAT Subject Tests? Is there an actual benefit specifically for Rutgers or should it not matter too much?
Don’t waste your time and money on subject tests if your only going to take them for Rutgers. They really don’t matter. You honestly have nothing to fear. You will get into SAS with those scores. I am not sure about Buisness school because I did not apply to that school, but you should be fine as well. You’re set for Rutgers.

Thank you so much, my schools naviance said I was pretty likely with those scores compared to the other admissions at my school, but the rutgers website had a chart that made me feel uneasy and cappex also said it was still risky, but thanks for your input 
You will be a great candidate for SAS. For business school, you have a chance but not a large one unless you raise your math score to over 600. 650 and above will set you as a competitive applicant.
