hey, im still a junior, but im simply curious about the status of my college search.

here we goooo ol

gpa: 3.8/4.45
sat: around 2200
ecs: nhs, snhs, fhs, name published in three research papers, class secretary, treasurer, possibly vp, and more but im too lazy

i live in maryland and go to a large competitive public school (ts wootton heard of it)

im interested in premed (hopkins, brown, washu, georgetown, emory,um-college park)
can u recommend other colleges that are possible candidates?

if your name is published in 3 research papers

i dont see why not.

DOUBLE TAKE

you're a junior??

yeah you will be fine.

"Name published in 3 research papers"

Were you a participant? ^^

How important were these publishings? How important was your contribution?

Yep, I've heard of it (since you always beat us (Whitman) in Chemistry Team). Well, I'm captain of that this year, so maybe that will change! :D

MIT (though bad for pre-med), if you're interested in the rest of the Ivies, of course they're good. Talk to your couselor and mention your preferences. He/She can help you better than I can, for sure.

Do raise that SAT, though. 2200 isn't that good. And make sure to take SAT IIs at the end of this year for the AP classes you're taking. If you want any info on the Math 2c, Physics, or Chem ones, PM me, since I got 800s on those my first time around.

Class sec.. hmm, oh lol, I know who you are. Research publications? Cool.

Oh, and thisisausername, don't bet on beating our Chemathon team. ;)
