Hi! I wouldn't normally start an individual threat like this, but McGill is somewhat of a mystery to me and I'd love to have some questions answered! I go to a competitive public school that accepts around 50% of McGill applicants (11 attending from the class of 2011).

I am applying to the Faculty of Arts, which seems to be primarily focused on your English marks. My sophomore year I had a B in Honors English, last year I had an A in Regular, and first term of this year I got an A- in AP English Lang. I am worried about my B sophomore year because McGill's Arts requirement of B+'s or higher in English courses. Will this ruin me?

30 ACT, 31 superscore (35 Reading, 32 English, 31 Science, 28 Math)
760 US History SAT II, 5 on the AP

Since my lowest score is in math, will my scores look better in the context of the Arts? Will they take into account that I am a more humanities focused person?

I have no idea how McGill reads applications, or if I stand a chance, but be honest. Thank you!
