Do you guys have any tips on how to raise my chances?

Hi spiq,
I’m a senior at Exeter, so I can only tell you about that school.
Your GPA looks fantastic, and better grades always help. It also looks as if you are taking advanced classes which will definitely help as well.
Your extracurricular list also looks impressive. I would say you look like a very good candidate.
I have been a tour guide at the school for two summers and have seen a lot of applicants come in and out of Bissel House, and you seem on par with many of them.

The best tips I can give you as senior and as someone who has worked in admissions, is that you have to be yourself and tell your story. Who are you? Where do you come from? What makes YOU special? Make sure you keep eye contact in your interview amd don’t be afraid of anyone. Just relax and think of it as a conversation.
That is probably the biggest thing, make sure you let them know why you deserve that spot and what makes you stand out. Make them remember you. Edit your essays.
As for the SSAT I didn’t study all that much -I would say do super well in all of your classes and look online for resources.
Hope I could help,
