<p>I am assuming whoever had that ACT score had the most amazing application ever (if we ignore the score). There are other possibilities as well, perhaps they have a learning-dissability that makes it hard for them to excel on standardized tests. So I am sorry and I do not mean to discourage, but do not think that one or two 23s makes the school realistic. If you are so inclined and are willing to spend the money go ahead and apply to a few of the ivies/top schools, but no that they are high, high reaches. Again why are you not considering test optional schools? There are great (and high ranked) schools that are test optional.</p>
