I am a senior with a 33 on the ACT with writing. I have a 750 on the Math level 2 subject test, and a 700 on the physics.
I have strong EC involvement, getting top ratings at state music, and placing at State FBLA competitions.
I hold many leadership positions, including NHS President, Class Vice President, Student Council Treasurer, and FBLA Webmaster.
My essays are very good, I had them proofed by 5 different teachers and spent a month on them.
I hope to major in mathematics.
I am applying to the following colleges:
Harvard, Priceton, MIT, Caltech, Dartmouth, Cornell.
I hope to get accepted to 1-2 of them. Do I have a chance?

a chances thread without gpa, course load, or class rank? preposterous!

but assuming all of that is on par with everything else youve listed, you stand a good chance at cornell (low reach?) -- the other ones are gonna be solid reaches

I'd agree with scared's assessment for the most part, but yeah, you have incomplete information.

GPA is huge, as well as what classes you're taking, and it's near impossible to say without that information. A comprehensive EC/Awards list would be nice.

Also, you have no safety/match colleges, or are they just not listed?

Dangit, I knew I was forgetting something. I'm afraid the information you requested is less than great. I have a 4.00 GPA, and I am ranked #1 in my class. The problem, there are 25 students in my class, and my school offers no AP/IB. I have exhausted just about every difficult class at my school, and have used independent study to even farther ahead in math. (Independent study really isn't allowed at my school, so technically I have a teacher, but my guidance counselor refuses to let me take any AP classes)
My classes are as follow:
Technical Support
Government
Yearbook Publications
English Composition
Library Aide
Calculus I
Chemistry
I know it looks easy, but there just isn't anything to take.
Oh and my safety valve is Kansas State University, where I've already been accepted with just about a full ride.
Thanks in advance, sorry for incomplete info.

You definitely have a chance at these as your ACT will make up for perfect grades at an unknown/ less competitive school. I would hedge the bet, however, with a perhaps a couple more top schools (Brown, Duke, Amherst, etc.)

youve done everything you can at your school -- colleges will certainly not look down on you for that

slippers dead on -- you could really afford to add some schools -- because as good as your stats are, you still may not get into any of the schools you listed, and i think everyone would agree that cornell-kansas state is a huge drop-off

Thank you for taking time to reply.
I agree in the difference between KSU and Cornell, you think a Duke or Georgia Tech would be a good back-up plan then? Do they have good math programs?

What are some of my other options?
