Chances for any UC school or UOFT?

<p>I'm born in California, but moved to toronto, canada so school was very different. Since Toronto is a known engineering school and being strong at math and science I wanted to know if I would get accepted as I'm going into Grade 12.</p>

<p>I had my slips here and there but being formally from California I always wanted to attend a Californian school and wanted to see if I had any chance of making it.</p>

<p>Grade 9 scores - No ap classes whatsoever in Canada, so its just straight up marks.

Science - 87
Gym - 95
Geography - 90
Music - 84
Tech - 97

Math - 93
Eng - 67 biggest slip, I had the worst teacher in the school, class average was a 61%

Heavily involved in soccer - Did make Team ontario but quit because it was too much time consuming and grades were dropping, Currently trying out for a scholarship in the Eastern United States every summer</p>

<p>Marching Band, President of the athletic council, SAT scores - 1850 , haven't done anything else regarding ACTs and subject tests</p>

<p>Undergraduate awards for Auto Tech, Computer engineering, won the Community competition for the best and fastest robot and also for Auto, best and fastest Co2 dragster</p>

<p>Many community hours over 100+</p>

<p>Enough soccer stuff, Mvp many times for sports for school</p>

<p>Athlete of the year in grade 10 + 11 for school</p>

<p>Ontario Literacy Test, a test you need to do to get a high school Diploma, 400/400</p>

<p>Lalacanada post under the Canada subforum… people there are familiar with Canadian grades and will know what it takes to get into a US university. I myself am Canadian and am heading to the US next year. Are you considered in state for California… if so, I think you have a shot at all the UCs except Berkeley and UCLA… for those two, you need to increase your SAT scores… you could possibly try taking them again. btw, I think you’ll be definitely fine for U of T if you actually get those Grade 12 grades…Canadian universities usually only look at grade 12 marks. UC system does not look at grade 9 marks but will look at the rest.</p>
