Chances for Baruch Honors

Hi, guys. I'd really like to attend CUNY Baruch for college. The college offers an honors program which consists of a full scholarship among other benefits. However, there seems to be two seperate honors programs; The Macaulay Honors and Baruch Honors. I already know that Macaulay would be a stretch for me, but I was hoping that other factors may increase my chances of getting in ( such as being from the mid-west, being a minority with a strong background in languages, etc.).

So, what are my chances for both programs? And what exactly are the differences between the two programs (as far as benefits are concerned)?

Thank you very much for your time

Here is the link for my stats.

And I apologize in advance because some of my stats are cut off in some places. So if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

raise your ACT score to at least a 28

A 26 is okay. But, raising your ACT to a 28 will make you competitive. Otherwise, I think you should get in. Good luck!

I’m going to re-take the ACT in September. Should I take the ACT plus writing? On my first ACT I got a 32 in English, 30 in Reading, a 25 in Science, and a 17 in Math. I know I definitely have to bring up my math score.

I would retake it with writing. If the school requires it, then you have no choice. On the other hand, if it doesn’t, then it will at least show initiative on your part in taking that section. I would hit the books this summer to increase your math score. That would increase your chances significantly. Chance me back please?

@ ayousef22 Sure and thanks for your help :)
