Chances for Bowdoin?

I'd really like to go to Bowdoin, but I have no clue what my chances are of getting in. Help me out? My school doesn't offer AP classes, but all classes are assumed to be on an honors level. Unfortunately virtually no honors or awards are offered here either, which I'm worried could hurt my chances.

Stats:
3.92 UW GPA (4.0 junior year)
33 ACT (29M 32E 34R 36S)

ECs:
-Yearbook: 4 years, and I am the designer/editor of the book as well as the club's representative
-Theatre: 3 years, 75+ hours of production time per show
-Tutoring: 2 years, and I have a great success story to tell in interviews about one of the kids I worked with
-Peer mentoring: 2 years
-Internship at a startup company this summer doing work in marketing and advertisement design

Courses for senior year: Calculus, Spanish 4, Advanced Biology, English, Programming, Creative Writing.

I know admissions to a school of this caliber are pretty much a crapshoot regardless of how impressive a student I am, but it would be nice to know whether or not I have a solid chance.

You have a chance but your SAT scores will have to come in very high and you need to quit getting B’s. This past class, the overall admittance rate at Bowdoin was 19%. Students that you are competing with for acceptance to Bowdoin are getting A’s in AP classes.

I took the SAT, but I’ll be submitting my ACT score instead. I only got Bs in freshman year and I had a reason for it that I can explain in my essay. Thanks for your input!

i think your in. bowdoin cares most about gpa, and a 4.0 junior year is great. good luck!

chance back?

Thank you! :)

Best of luck for Bowdoin-though only about 450 freshman a year. Might also look at Colby and Holy Cross -both very good LAC’S but easier to get into.
