GPAs a bit on the lower side for Brown.
Your Math and writing scores are very good and you can probably increase your CR score to a 650+ maybe? and your score will be incredible.

You are a little weak on the ECs front though. They are very varied, you should focus on a few and get really deep into them. Like not just a member (member key club, french club), some kind of a leadership position maybe?

So i would say theres a chance (with those scores, not applying would be a sin! :P) but if you could improve on some of the above mentioned, then your chances would improve greatly, that is if you still have the time.

Good luck!

Your scores are on the low side and you don’t have much by way of leadership positions. Do you feel that your recs will be saying something like this is one of the best students I have had in years or something else along those lines that says you are uniquely qualified to attend Brown? If not, and you apply ED to Brown, you should have a broad range of backup schools which include schools where you are better matched for.

Both your SAT score and GPA are low for Brown, but it’s not out of reach. I’d recommend that you should only apply if you really love the school, and retake the SAT.

Good luck :)

Thanks for the responses! I will really try to take your suggestions. I want to apply to 1-2 Ivies, but I’m not sure which. I really like Brown though, so I will probably give it a try.

^In terms of Ivies, Cornell might be a better fit academically.
