I want to know my chances. I am a 7th grader currently attending Norfolk Acdemy and my dad can no longer afford it. My goal is to attend one of the top boarding schools in New England

STANDARDIZED TEST:
99% IN SSAT John Hopkins SSAT(Regonized for High Honors)

SPORTS
Soccer in Fall
Crew in the Spring

EXTRACURRICULARS
Orchestra -Bass
Extremely Dedicated Piano player who plays for Church
Dedicated Kumon- Level M(Precalc/ Trigonometry)

I am currently writing the essays and really wanted your advice. Thanks for your advice!

Hey Lawanos! I too am applying to become a 2015 CDB Scholar. I have sent in my portfolio, as you most likely have as well. I would say that on the sections of Academic Coursework and Academic Awards, you seem to be lacking. For future purposes, I would say build up your Extracurriculars and broaden their range, reaching out into fields besides music. Your Kumon level, though I do not participate in that program, seems very high for a Seventh Grader, and so does your SAT! Anyway, Good luck!
