GPA: 3.513
SAT: 610math; 540rding
ACT: 23 because of 18 in science
Many AP classes and plan to take all ap exams whether I m in that class or not
EC's tutoring at home for free, many internships, also enrolled in a internship GT class at a career center away from my school. Hose and FBLA( ran for office but ppl who were officers last yr continued this yr<< teacher doesn't like new officers), but not an active member. Community emergency volunteering; about 100 community service hours or maybe more if my internship hours count.
I always wanted to go to the best university. But I just started lowering my gpa because of house probs and my ADD. ADD also influenced my test scores.
I also have no one helping me for college. Being the first in family to go to college in us, I have not enough info about applying. I can't drive either to drive to counselors and know more. So making a choice is really hard when u don't have family help or Any friends. So it's also get hard to decide how much I would be able to pay when I want to make the least loans possible.
So which of the best ny, California, Washington D.C, Texas or any other universities would accept me? The one that is close to being a prestigious? Something like UT at Austin, Texas A&M or Baylor, maybe RICE too? Oh yes, I am a Texas resident?

Anyone?? Really need help! Thank you

You are automatically given admissions to the University of Texas: Austin if you are in the top 10% of your class and a Texas Resident. I’d try to raise your SAT scores a little bit, the best way to do this would be to buy the book and do all 10 practices tests.

And there’s no way you could possibly take all AP exams possible. Just take the ones you prepare for.

Bump! Bump!

The problem is, I’m in the top 53% cuz of the 700 seniors competitive ‘ranked 259 best public school’ I go to.

Bad worded- I mean I go to a school ranked 259 among the public high schools in the u.s by newsweek. There is a graduating class of about 700 for 2013. I am in the top 53% which could have been significantly higher if I went to a different school closer to my income. My parents even get mad when I asked to take the sat the third time, as the cost for me would be higher cuz of late registration and no more fee waivers. All the kids that go here are super rich( yes, two olympians but famous ones). And I my family’s income is very low and I live in a two bedroom apartment, so I have to go to my closet to study at nights when everyone else is sleeping as I share rooms. I am not able to afford many clubs at my school. I don’t know why we can’t live somewhere else, but it’s already too late to move. And I am happy with my school cuz I’m not bullied here as o used to be at my previous school( I’m kinda unknown though but that’s fine, it doesn’t distract me into stupidness).
I don’t think the colleges would listen to my plea tho. There are a lot of people with worse life and good grades because they happen to make ends meet unlike me, who goes to CC and complain.

Sorry too long but read!
