<p>I wouldn’t worry about your gpa, which seems to be the weakest part of your app, since CMU doesn’t seem to put too much weight on it so long as the SATs are good. From collegeboard:</p>

<p>52% had h.s. GPA of 3.75 and higher
28% had h.s. GPA between 3.5 and 3.74</p>

<p>I think you’ve got a good shot at CMU. posting a bit more about your area and race and stuff would help, as well as socioeconomic background if you’re comfortable with it. I do think you have a good shot. what’s your intended major though? and what courses are you taking that demonstrate interest in it?</p>
