<p>Hey everyone, i was wondering what you guys think my chances would be at Carnegie Mellon's School of Computer Science. I know its very competitive to get into, but im curious as to your opinions. </p>
<p>I attend a public high school in Staten Island, New York. Here are my stats:</p>
<p>SAT: 710 Verbal 740 Math</p>
<p>SAT II: 690 Math IC 660 Chemistry 740 Writing</p>
<p>GPA: My school does not convert GPAs to a 4.0 scale, but my GPA is a 93.8 unweighted and 98.7 wieghted. I am ranked #46 out of a class of 894. </p>
<p>Curriculum: I am taking the toughest curriculum available to me at my school. I am in the Science Institute program there, have taken all honors classes, have taken AP Biology, AP Chemisty, and AP U.S. History and am currently taking AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus BC, and AP English. I am also taking a college credit Sociology course. I am also in the CISCO Networking Academy program at my school.</p>
<p>ECs: Young Republican Club, Dance Dance Revolution Club, New York City Interscholastic Math League in which our team placed #2 in the city junior year, Newman Club, National Honor Society, Junior Varsity Track and Field for 2 years, and Trumpet player in the school band for 2 years. </p>
<p>Any information on your thoughts on my chances would be greatly apreciated.</p>
