Chances for College Admission

Okay. I know these are not the best stats, but I wanted to get some input before the college application process begins.

Cummulative GPA: 2.971
Class Rank: 271/565
SAT: 1260
ACT: Have not taken as of yet

Classes Taken (Freshman-Junior Years)

Honors English 9/10, Expository Writing, British Literature
Spanish Levels 1-4
Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, Physics, Human Anatomy 1/2

Classes to be taken Senior Year

AP Biology, AP Spanish, AP English, AP Calculus

Activities:
Basketball, Track, Marching Band, several leadership programs
Will volunteer at medical research labs (wanting to enter a pre-med major)

These are the colleges that I am looking at currently:

Ohio Northern University
University of Dayton
Baldwin-Wallace College
Miami University
University of Toledo

Is that the combined SAT, or the math and verbal section?

Regardless, with that GPA, Miami is a big reach. Your GPA puts you in the bottom 3% of all applicants.

Ohio Northern University: Average high school GPA 3.55

Baldwin-Wallace College: Average high school GPA 3.50

University of Toledo: Average high school GPA 3.08

Remember those are just numbers and anything is possible. Have you considered looking outside of Ohio?

How about Kent State thats in Ohio

If you have been getting Bs and Cs in your courses so far, why did you sign up for even harder classes for your senior year? Those grades count, too.

Look at Bowling Green and OSU.
