<p>I have similar grades to yours, 3.65 GPA (UW), 33 superscore ACT but have different EC’s. (junior though)
Reading older threads Cornell ILR is huge on fit. The essays and ECs are what I think put a student in. You have a good shot I guess as the ED is 35%. Just focus on essays</p>

<p>I think your GPA is too low, isn’t the golden rule a 3.7+. Furthermore, neither your grades nor ec’s indicate a passion. IMO, i would say it is a high reach.</p>

<p>My grades don’t indicate a passion? I don’t think that’s all that valid… By that logic if I wanted to be a physicist and had a 4.0 in physics but 2.5 in all other courses I would be in. There is no “golden rule” for GPA - that entirely depends on classes taken, and the school you attend.</p>
