<p>My son got a guaranteed transfer offer. He has no interest in business (economics yes, corporate world nor law no).</p>
<p>@blevine what did he go to ILR for then, if I may ask? And what were his stats?</p>
<p>He is still a freshman, considering the offer. ILR is advertised as an interdisciplinary degree where you can custom
tailor the program outside of a few fresh/soph requirements. By Junior/senior year it’s all electives. He is interested in econ/math and government. You can take all those classes as part of ILR. It is not a business school, though there are a few classes that are similar (Org Behavior is an obvious one). There are counterarguments to go somewhere and just study Econ etc. But then your Econ profs would not be Cornell profs.</p>
<p>Good chance! Try to bring up your GPA this year though. It’s a bit low.</p>
