Thats about it, if you chance i will chance back, thank you!!

I think you have a pretty good chance; your ACT score and ECs are very good. The only thing holding you back may be your GPA-it’s okay, but it’s not that high.

Only 3 APs taken?

yeah thats my one downfall, my course load. what do you think my chances are?

How many APs are offered at your school?

like 30… but since math u have to take all the prereqs before calc i couldnt do ap till senior year. its the same story with spanish and science

I would say most likely acceptance. Although your course load is mediocre, your UW GPA, class rank, and standardized test score are all strong.

thanks for the opinion! anyone else?

bump. ill chance back

So because you’re in a Chicago suburban competitive HS, you’d probably be best off looking at your school’s naviance to see your chances. Because my HS (Chicago suburbs) had a great connection with the NU adcoms, so dozens of applicants got into NU each year. It got to the point where NU could pretty much be considered a safety for someone with a 3.8 GPA in honors/AP classes, as the upper right corner of naviance was entirely green. Your HS may be similar, so I’d check and find out.

So in short your college counselor/naviance will probably have a more accurate assessment than the one you will get here.

i just looked at naviance and im in that range. thanks for da advice!

Hey I’m in Illinois too! Your stats are GREAT for Northwestern. Great grades and great ACT. If Northwestern is what you want, I think you have it in the bag. People from my school with stats like yours get in.

hey thanks! good luck with your apps and everything. anyone else?

You’ve got a great chance!

I don’t think your GPA is low at all - it definitely shows an upward trend. Your courseload looks fine too - I think ED you have a 90 percent chance of getting in - good luck! I’m applying RD

awesome! good luck conscience444! and thanks prateek92

You have a decent shot, probably a high match.
Remember, junior year grades count for a lot and it seems that you really improved from previous years. Your ACT score is also pretty good. Colleges usually look at your first semester senior year grades too, so if you do well your GPA will go up even higher.

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/979463-chance-upenn-princeton.html#post1065424703

Northwestern ED is probably a low match for you, ED helps a lot and your scores are solid.

thanks tj… anyone else?

Yeah, I say you have a pretty good chance at being accepted ED to Northwestern. Just work hard on those SAT2s.

Chance “me” back, senior:
