<p>GT GPA: 3.91 (their middle 50 is 3.85 - 4.11) I had some bad medical circumstances in freshman year which will go in the additional information. If you don't count the semester where it happened I would have a 3.98</p>

<p>SAT: 720 m 670 cr 650 w (2040) their middle 50 is 2000-2260 (I'm retaking in October and I got a 2170 on a c2 diagnostic which is generally harder than the real sat)</p>

<p>My top college choice is Georgia Tech in order to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.</p>

<p>I’d say don’t worry about it. Your SAT could improve for better chances at G. Tech but if and when it does, you might pretty much have an in.</p>

<p>Georgia Tech is a high match. GPA is strong, but SAT could use some work. I doubt they are going to reject you because you fall in their mid 50% range. Your ECs are pretty good, so no need to sweat it.</p>

<p>For EA I think it’s hovering around a low reach/high match. You’re looking pretty good, though, so I wouldn’t sweat it too much. Good luck!</p>

<p>pros: good enough grades (by far, considering your circumstances), test scores (if you retake). Otherwise, it may be tough but not impossible by any means. If you do, great.</p>

<p>It may help if you include more science-related activities but you seem well-established enough in ECs and applying early action from a feeder school, you should be fine :D</p>
