grades r good but ur ecs fail to stand out.

i heard cal is a premed killer.....

MIT,Stanford, Ivies=crapshoot, so best of luck to that
Berkeley= low reach/high match. If you're a cali resident, i think berkely would be a high match.

what other schools could I look at? how should I improve my ec's? btw, I am not a Cali resident... lol.

Well for MIT you really need to show a passion for Science/Math/Engineering, you need to enter science competitions, compete in Academic Olympiads and what not.

I think that you don't show enough passion for the area you are trying to pursue in.

I think Cal is then a Low Reach for you. Their OOS admissions process is killer.

ur ECs are good but ivies usually look "for something diffrent" you wud need a killer essay to get accepted, something that makes you stand out.
you have a few awards too so that good...scores and grades are good...
take a few more APs tho. most of the ppl who get in to MIT or stanford have as many as 10 APs, so if ur a junior do some more nxt yr.
Good luck!

I'm taking 5 AP classes next year and 6 AP tests (AP Eng Lang/Comp; AP Chem; AP Psych or Stats; AP Spanish; AP Calc BC)... oh, and I'm going to be a senior. that's probably important =]

and I went to NYLF-Med too. sorry, completely forgot about that
