chances for JMU

I submitted my early action application for james madison university and I am wondering what my chances are. I come from a very competetive area of public schools in new jersey and have a gpa of 2.8. I did badly my freshaman year and have done better each year and now as a senior, I get all A's and B's. I got a 1970 on my SAT's (1330) and a 27 on ACT's. I have taken three honors, and am in an AP currently. I wrote a very good essay, have emailed the admissions counselor, my guidance counselor has called him and I have visited 5 times. I have worked for 2 years, about 25 hours a week, taken workshops over the summer and have played varsity tennis for 4 years. I have two very good teacher/guidance counselor recomendations and I also have been in habitat for humanity for 2 years and participate regularly. My current senior year GPA will be around a 3.8. What are my chances?

You’ll get in. But why the hell did u visit 5 times

Idk my gpa is way off, and just because I visited with my older siblings on each of their college trips and then once on my own

Idk about early action though. Maybe regular decision

i know early action is the most competitive and there are many people deferred to RD. I think you will get accepted RD because although your GPA is low for JMU you have GREAT SAT scores but if you dont get in it is because of your grades. But i think you will get in or have a decent chance at the least.
