What do you think guys? Also, I'm in state

You are near the low end for in state admission. You should try to improve your GPA and ACT score. In particular for your GPA, you may need extra effort to bring it up as you are taking more rigorous course that previous year. Before you start a new club or new group, look around to see if there is really nothing available. Don’t re-invent a wheel. What is most important is to do something where you have passion at.

What do you think would be a gpa for a good chance?

I would want at least a 3.85 / 30+ ACT. Even then you may or may not be admitted.

For in state students, if you are at the admission average, your chance should be very very high.

I know someone with the following stat’s that was just rejected-

-In state
-3.92 UW, 27 ACT (10 writing)
-Several AP’s (not sure exactly how many)
-Outstanding EC’s and rec’s

I think that 3.75 / 28 ACT has a chance but it is a toss-up. You definitely want to retake the ACT to get in the 30+ range.
