Chances for NYU, Columbia, or Stony Brook?

Freshman Year: Honors Geometry (A), Regents World History (our school didn't offer AP World History :( ) (A), Spanish 2 (A), Regents Biology (A), Regents English (A-)
Sophomore Year: Honors Trig (A), Spanish 3 (A), Regents WH II (A), Honors Chemistry (A), Regents English (A-)
Junior Year: Honors English, College Spanish 103 (credits through SUNY Albany), Honors Pre-Calc BC, Regents U.S. History, Honors Physics

Also self studying 6 APs: APUSH, AP Computer Science A, AP Macro, AP Micro, AP Stats, AP Chinese

Taken 2 SATs so far, not very good, don't plan to send them:
WH: 530
Chemistry: 600
Considering retaking them OR replacing them with SAT (USH/Chinese?), Physics, and Math II

So far I have an unweighted GPA around the 3.9 mark. I'm just going into junior year right now so I haven't taken my SATs yet.

Extracurriculars:
Pep Band (9-12)
Jazz Band (10-12)
Tennis Team (11-12)
Ski Team (11-12)
Math Team (11-12)

I also have around 15-20 hours of volunteer experience on me - I plan to work more and get to 60 by next spring so that I can join National Honor Society.

Columbia-high reach
NYU-low reach
not sure about Stony Brook. Everything is tentative right now because you’re only a rising senior. Definitely get a 2000+ SAT and better SAT II scores to improve your chances. You’ll still have to send in your 530 and 600 for schools that don’t use Score Choice.
As for ECs, try to find passion in them and perhaps get leadership positions. Self-studying for APs is harder than you think, too. Overall, just keep on trying hard and you’ll have a more realistic view of where you stand by the end of junior year.

Columbia: Reach
NYU: Aim for 2100+/31+
Stony Brook: Aim for 1900+/28+

You need the strong test scores now to be a competitive applicant for NYU, which is a great school btw. Columbia is a high high reach for everyone, so you should apply, but don’t be disappointed with the results.
