Chances for NYU, Georgetown, JHU etc.

I'll reply back for your chances (not much of an expert tho)

Objective:

SAT I

(1)CR:600, M:710, W:680
(2)CR:630, M:770, W:720

SAT II: Chem:710, Math 2: 750, French: 600 (Third only for Georgetown)

Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): No idea, I use IB

Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): No class rank/percentile for my school

IBs (First, Second Semester Junior): IBH Chem (6+, 6-), IBH Math (5-, 6), IBS Econ (6,6+) IBH Phys (6, 7-), IBSA1 Eng (5+,6-) IBSB French (5+,5+), TOK: (N/A, 6-)

IB 10th Grade: all 6-,6,6+, one 7- for chem, a couple of 5+'s

9th Grade: Stuyvesant High School (85 avg) --> Transferred out

Subjective:

Extracurriculars:
Fresh Meadows Chinese School, 9th-12th grade (9,10: Volunteering 11, 12: Top Volunteer [Manager])

FMCS is like a tutoring center/school in my neighborhood public school (for learning Chinese and Math/Eng), I volunteered there for all of high school, as a class supervisor, then a teacher, then a manager.

School Paper, 11th-12th

Was the sports writer

Band/Orchestra, 9th-10th

Played Sax

Member of Other School Clubs (A year each):

Cinema Mission
Homeless Help
Design Science

Essays: To be honest, I don't think it's that good:

Essay is on how I transferred out of Stuy to go to a UN school, and write about my experiences and how its important to have a cultural awareness/ be yourself/ make different friends/ have strong relationships with your teachers.

But my college counselor said it's ok but it's not gripping; my friends and everything say it's a good thing to write about and everything but I'm not confident about it.

Teacher Recommendation: One from chem teacher, one from French teacher, dunno how they end up

Counselor Rec: Don't know

Additional Rec: Vg recommendation from FMCS principal

Other

In NYC

School Type: Private, UN School

Ethnicity: Asian

Gender: Male
*Income bracket: don't quite know, probably high (tuition is very high for UN school, but I'm like one of the poorest cuz my parents work at the UN and about 80% of tuition is cut off)
*Hook: Unfortunately, none.....I think

Yeah, I don't really have a good idea of my chances, because the IB program isn't common, and my school doesn't use GPA or rankings. I made my list with my college counselor who considered it a "solid" list, but other than that, I really don't have a solid idea.

Strengths: IB Program? School
Weaknesses: I think my extracurriculars could be better, essays will be a weakness I think, SAT Reading score.....

Everything else: I don't know whether my grades are a strength or weakness, b/c the scale is different from the common system.

My List For Now:

Geogetown, JHU, NYU, URochester, Brandeis, BC, Cornell, Columbia, UChicago, Northwestern

Yeah, I don't feel good about alotta these, but NYU and URochester and Brandeis seem like relatively safe choices.

I will willingly replay to everyone else's chances threads. Thanks!
