-I have about 150 volunteer hours right now and I’m planning to have 450+ by the end of the summer before senior year
-Also I skipped 1st grade but I don’t know if that’s going to help with admissions

That SAT: critical reading score needs some massive work, also the part where you’ve denoted that you plan on doing 450+ hours of community service by the end of the summer, while I feel community service is valuable I think you could put some of your time in better areas; for example, summer classes, SAT prep, study abroad program, college summer program… etc… However, I will give you credit for planning out such a rigorous course load, but the fact that you’re a sophomore with a 3.75 UW means that there have been some courses that have recently challenged you and thats ok, however, the chances of you getting straight A’s in a course load of predominantly AP: Classes is hard to predict, I hope you’re motivated. Ok, now to be more serious and not as cynical, I think it’s way to early to be worrying about NYU, work on your SAT crit reading score and try hard in school and you have a good chance as NYU is a private school that needs students who are willing to pay private school tuition; therefore, if NYU is your dream school it is definitely possible you will get in, somewhere in the near future.
