Chances for Oxford?

Hey everyone, I am from Boston but I want to apply to Oxford or Emory? Do I have a chance at either one of them? My main goal is to go to the Goizueta school of business. Thanks!

anyone!??? please???

Check your PM

you realise that oxford applications were due 15th of october... just returned from the interviews in oxford, decisions will be posted next week...

ignore what i just said, that was related to oxford university, uk, my bad!

laxgurl, your GPA is, to be honest, pretty low. However, your SAT I score is decent overall (low CR but high math) and you have pretty strong SAT II scores. Your AP scores are excellent as well as your ECs.

You have a really, really good shot at Oxford. Heck, you may even make it into Emory :).

You have a good chance at getting into Oxford, but, to be honest, unless you apply EDII, your GPA is far too low for Emory. You have good scores, but the average unweighted GPA at Emory is a 3.8.

Good luck

Decent shot at Oxford--maybe still be a low reach because of the GPA.

Honestly, not so good a chance for Emory, ]same reason and SATI is a bit disproportionate] --especially looking at the stats of some of the CCers that were rejected/deferred..

Numbers aren't everything though, especially with your ECs [pretty awesome] ..so good luck & apply to both anyways..you never know :)!

Even though her (I assume) SAT I scores are disproportionate, it works in her favor. If she got a 680 in math instead of a 780, she'd still have a decent shot at Oxford. Oxford's pretty easy to get into. They have a really high acceptance rate (50-60%) and relatively low expectations.

Yea, low chance at Emory though. But it's still possible :/

Definite in at oxford. i'm a sophomore here, and if they don't let you in, i would be shocked.
