Chances for penn and others

These are my friend’s sats. She, for some reason, has had trouble registering with this site and finally asked someone else to post her stats… I posted them elsewhere and no one responded. And thus the big debate ensued because she put “hispanic, from Spain” on them, which many don’t think counts. Just to note that.

Applications: UNC Chapel Hill, Wake, Vanderbilt, Tulane, Northwestern, Wash U, Boston U, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, UPenn, Emory

Can you rank my chances at these places?

Thanks!

Harvard, Princeton: No way
Penn, Columbia: Big reaches, maybe like 20-30% early, 5-10% RD
Northwestern, Wash U: reaches: probably 20-30% RD, 40-50% early?
The rest are matches I think

Thanks. I agree. I think she wants to go to Vanderbilt but all of her friends are insane 1550 kids, so she's stuck on the Harvard EA thing. I wish the best and will relay your message (nicely).

I might be too harsh though, wait for other responses. But it seems like to me that the SAT II's are a bit low, with 2 under 700 :/, the SAT is mediocre. It's impressive that she got 1st in a state science olympaid though.

Is it really THAT impressive to get top three in State Science Olympiad...because I've placed 1st,2nd,3rd, in different events in State Science Olympiad...but I don't think it as much of an achievement because nobody talks about placing in Science Olympiad...?

whats her rank and curriculum?

She's actually taken more APs than anyone at our school. She will be 4/325 by the end of the semester (is 3 now).
