Chances for Phillips Exeter Academy?

Hi! I plan to apply to Exeter as a prep for the 2013-2014 school year. I am an eigth grade girl with a Chinese ethnicity.

Grades:
Geometry (I will be takin Algebra 2/Trig next year) : A
French: A+
Social Studies: A-
Accelerated Science(taking Biology next year) : A-
Language Arts: A+

Extracurriculars:
Mock Trial (basically a mock court case where a team of 10 students asssume the roles of attorneys and witnesses. At the Regional competition, for plaintiff, I was an attorney and I received an Outstanding Attorney award and also, our defendant witness got an appendictimy (she's fine:) and since I am an alternate on that side, I played her role with 1 week of practice and received Outstanding Witness)
History Day
Tennis
Piano
Cross Country
Track(will begin in spring, but I did it in 7th grade)
I am also entering the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and will be writing a persuasive essay)

Awards (nothing significant)
For Mock Trial, we have our State competition on Thursday so I don't quite know(:
Semifinalist for Letters of Literature in 4th grade... don't know if that counts, haha
Track (I won 1st place in the mile run once or twice...)

SSAT(taking in January):
Verbal and Quantitive: around 94 percentile, I think?
Reading: 99%

Ummm... I don't know if I should put anything else, but I am very fluent in Chinese and speak without an accent!

Thanks!

Your grades seem pretty good. Try to improve your extracirriculars as much as you can, and if you do well on your essays and interview, you’ll have a good shot!

Your grades and SSAT look great, but then again, there’s no telling what’ll happen. I’d also recommend posting this in the “Prep School Chances” forum. They’ll probably know more than we do, but in the meantime, make sure you keep up the good work :)
