chances for sophomore

Hey just wanted to know what my chances were havent really done much.

SAT:
Critical Reading: 540
Math:620
Writing:480

GPA: 3.66(unweighted)

Freshman year: mostly honors classes A's and B's one trisemester of straight A's

Sophomore year: most honors one ap A's B's C's

EC:

Wyldlife Leader (middle school ministry)
Golf
have about 40 hours of service

doesn't look good at all

lukeaf, as a sophomore you still have time to improve your scores, gpa and get some EC's in. Your stats aren't bad but maybe not good enough for W&M, especially if you're OOS. So get to work!

If you're a rising junior and those are SAT scores from your sophomore year, then just be a trooper about getting better prepared for them, especially on the writing and reading section. You math section is okay, but with another year of prep, you should get a 700 on it.

Extracurricular-wise, I only did one big activity in high school and I still got in. I was just very committed to that activity and I did well in it. You don't have to do 500 things to get accepted by W&M, so there, I'd say you're fine.

Grades: You're in a good amount of AP/Honors classes, and if you live in VA, you're in okay shape, but I still suggest that you improve on them next year. If you're not from VA, you really have to improve.

IMPORTANT STAT: 2/3 of W&M undergrad applicants don't live in Virginia.

Good luck with your college search.
