Chances for Taft, Choate, Miss Porter's, Tabor...?

Hello everybody!
Here is a rough "resume" I guess you would call it. I am applying for the 2015-2016 school year as a repeat Sophomore to the above mentioned schools and probably several others. I am currently a Freshman at a small private school in Maine that I have attended since fourth grade and after a year of isolation, exclusion and other fiascos that make me nauseous to even think about, my parents are allowing me to switch to the public high school for my Sophomore year before I apply to boarding schools as a repeat Sophomore. I will be taking two honors courses next year (Honors Biology and Honors English)
I am a caucasian, female student from New England.

So, here goes!
-88 GPA (Math dragged me down quite a bit, I have a 78 in Algebra currently. I expect my grades to go up a bit next year at public school)
-I was in the 89th percentile for the National Spanish Exam and scored better than anyone in my current level
-I was selected as one of 25 students from my school as an Innovator for my school; we had to make a project of our choosing and present it in front of school officials as part of a special program (I chose to make a documentary about my school's history)
-Off-Broadway Actress
-Professional singer
-Involved in the Miss America Organization (Not sure if this is something to be proud of or bring up... It could be used as a hook or it could be viewed as childish)
-Dance for eight years- Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Choreography
-Varsity tennis as a Freshman- #1 doubles and #4 singles (Backup)
-Raised thousands of dollars for a charity in my hometown dedicated to ending the time over the weekend when a child cannot get a meal from Friday afternoon to Monday morning as they rely on their school for meals
-I plan to play JV field hockey in the fall at my new school
-I have planned several food drives for previously mentioned charity
-I am using the tuition money saved from switching from private school to public school and donating to the Clearcause foundation after a good family friend died studying abroad in Rome
-Taking a trip to West Virginia to build schools and homes in McDowell county (the sixth poorest county in the United States)
-Appeared in two National PSA's
-Will be taking the SSAT's in the fall- expecting to reach 85% and above
Thanks a bunch, guys!
I really appreciate it
:)

You seem like you have decent chances. Are you applying for financial aid?

No, I’m not! @stargirl3 If anything, we will ask my grandparents for financial support.

I really hate chancing people, because there’s lots of luck involved, so that’s exactly what I’ll wish you: good luck! :D/

Thanks! I really appreciate it. My first choice is DEFINITELY Taft and since I applied there and was rejected in eighth grade, I’m hoping that my reapplying with better grades and more EC’s will do me well!
@stargirl3

Bumpity bump bump!

@heyitsblaineee: GOOD LUCK! I’m also applying next year, so I hope we can both get in! :D

@mathman1201‌ Oh Wow! Where are you applying? I would love to keep in touch with an applicant during the process!

@heyitsblaineee: Basically everywhere. :D

@mathman1201: Haha oh my! What’s your first choice?

Exeter. :)

Oh, nice! I have a bunch of friends at Exeter since I live in NH. You truly do not get better than that school, let me say. I’d say you have a decent chance at admission!

^^ @mathman1201‌

Thanks! You too! I hope you get into Taft!! :D

In less than 9 months, we will get our decisions. Isn’t that scary? That’s about the length of the first day of school to now. I’m nervous… X_X

@mathman1201, calm down. May I remind you that you haven’t interviewed or written your applications yet. You haven’t taken your SSAT and you don’t even know the teachers that will be writing your recommendations. Just remember that 9 months is a very, very long period of time and A LOT can change in those months. Don’t be nervous now because it will just cause more nerves in the future when the pressure is most present.

Ok, I’ll try. :-&
Takes a deep breath

You have no right to be nervous right now. Wait until March 9 and THEN and ONLY THEN can you tell us that you’re nervous. B-)

@mrnephew I wonder how you guys managed to live. How on earth did you get past that day? I’m already super nervous…

By posting over 600 times that night/morning alone.
