Chances for the 16k and 20k scholarships?

<p>I realize there's probably a very slim chance I'll get any money, but here it goes...</p>

<ul>
<li>3.7 Unweighted-GPA </li>
<li>several APs</li>
<li>31 ACT</li>
<li>founder of HS's Film Club</li>
<li>started a small film festival for my community</li>
<li>New Project Manager in Key Club</li>
<li>many other extracurriculars</li>
</ul>

<p>The “minimum” SAT and ACT required for invites to the full scholarship weekend are 1500 (out of 1600) or 33. This is subject to change based on a variety of factors, namely GPA, class ranks, and minority status. (That’s not racist, UM is VERY proud of the fact that we have a large minority population, but many of these students are actively recruited by schools with smaller minority populations.)</p>

<p>i think if you retake the ACT you’ll get something. UM has a more holistic view on admissions & i think you’ll be suprised. hope to see you at the []_[] !!!</p>
