Chances for top schools?

Schools I'm Worried About:
* Princeton
* Columbia
* Cornell
* UChicago
* Washington University in St. Louis

GPA: 5.17/5.0 weighted

ACT: 33 composite, 36 English, 32 Math, 36 Reading, 35 Science
SAT: 2100 composite, 710 reading, 640 math, 750 writing

AP's: Human Geography (5), World History (5), European History (3), Music Theory (4; aural subscore 4, nonaural subscore 5), English Language (5), U.S. History (4)

EC's:
* Piano student (grades 1-10)

Awards:
* AP Scholar with Distinction
* National Merit Scholarship Corporation Commended Student
* Concerto competition finalist (local high school district - didn't post formal name for privacy)
* Fourth semester A Honor Roll
* Gold Award (94th percentile), American Association of Teachers of German national German proficiency test, Level 2
* (as part of my district orchestra) "The American Prize" Semi-finalist, "School Ensemble" category

Misc:
* Spent a month in Europe over the summer, 2 weeks of which was performing as part of an orchestra

I want to apply to just three of the five but I haven't decided which yet. I'm thinking UChicago, WashU, and one of the Ivies. Do I even have a shot at it? Is it worth my time to apply, or am I way off the mark?

Thanks in advance :)

Easiest to Hardest (IMO)

WU -> Cornell -> Columbia/UChic -> Princeton

Honestly, the Ivies are all reaches
I think you should just to Washington and Cornell

Well I’m definitely taking a shot at UChicago… I visited campus and loved it. I know I’m not exactly in the comfortable range for getting in, but better that I try and get rejected than not try and regret it, I think.

I say match for WashU and Chicago, and low reach for the other two. Your dedication to Piano will speak a lot to the admissions officers I think. And your GPA and ACT scores are right in there with the rest of the applicant pool
