Hi
I am a 27 year old student currently completing my bachelors at my state school. I dropped out after my sophomore year due to financial trouble since I have worked several jobs mostly mean jobs and my last stint was being a self employed derivatives trader, I was making six figures before returning to college. I was previously majoring in electrical engineering as opposed to business now. I really want to go to a top tier MBA PROGRAM, which are the programs where I stand a chance?
When will you complete your bachelors degree? Age is a factor in MBA admissions, and you are currently around or slightly above the median age of business school matriculants. You should also post GPA, GMAT, work history, and extracurriculars, as well as post graduate plans. I think business school admissions is somewhat similar to undergraduate admissions.
I would complete my bachelors at 28. My GPA is 3.6. I would likely to graduate with cum laude. I would take GMAT over summer. I AM DOING REALLY WELL on reading and writing sections on prep tests. Most places I worked aren’t worth mentioning on the resume, but I have worked in a high school for a year managing staff and accounts. My last held job was being self employed derivatives trader as stated above, which I am really good at. My extracurricular s include playing golf, travelling, reading and having a good time.
