<p>I really need to know if you think I'd be able to get in!</p>
<p>I am a freshman at Emerson and as much as this is a great school, it has always been my dream to go to NYU and the majors here just aren't really working for what I want to do and I have fallen in love with NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study. </p>
<p>Anyway, as for my stats:</p>
<p>HS:
GPA: 3.6 (2 AP classes, rest were honors)
Rank: 44/244 (top 18% of a very competitive class)
SAT: 1720 (I recently retook these, I haven't gotten my scores back yet, but through preparation and practice tests I was able to reach 1900+)
EC: Dance for 13 years (captain my last year), Drama Club all 4 years of HS (Executive Board Secretary my last year), Senior Class Treasurer, Broadcast and Print Journalism Teams 2 years
I also had a job my senior year working in a day care at a local gym.</p>
<p>College:
GPA: we don't know yet because our semester hasn't ended, but I have A's in all my classes
EC: Dance, Copyeditor & Writer for Your Magazine, Eligible for a Sorority next semester, Drama</p>
<p>I'm planning on also taking the ACTs and I'm having my high school AP English teacher help me with my essays which I've heard should be unique for Gallatin.</p>
