Chances for transferring to Virginia Tech?

<p>I live in Virginia and am currently attending a community college and getting my Associates of Science degree in hopes of transferring to Virginia Tech for psychology. What are my chaces?</p>

<p>As of my last semester (fall 2012) i have a 2.5 GPA, but that's not including this and next semester. My SAT scores are: reading: 540, math: 530, writing: 510. </p>

<p>I've heard that you need at least a 2.5 gpa to transfer using the VCCS guaranteed admission program, and that students who complete the program are very strongly considered for transfer. I don't know if this is enough information, but thanks for looking.</p>

<p>I also got a 4 on my AP psychology exam in high school, and was involved for a year in soccer. I plan on joining the gay student alliance club at my community college as well.</p>
