Chances for U of M - In State

I am currently a junior (from Michigan), so this is a little early, but I'm still "shopping" around. If you use the grades I have for this semester and my sophomore year I have an unweighted GPA of 3.87. I'm currently taking Early American Lit, Physics, Chemistry, Precalc, American Gov't, and AP History. My senior year I'm taking 3 AP classes; Physics, Calc, and Gov't.

My class rank is around 30/300? and I scored a 26 on the ACT during my sophomore year. I'm retaking the ACT and shooting for a 28-30, and plan on taking the SAT. I go to a competitive school and I'm in a very competitive class. My school does not have honor classes though, and limited AP courses.

I'm not going to list all the EC activities, but here are a few.
Civil Air Patrol Cadet
Student Leadership Organization
Class Secretary during Sophomore year
Varsity Club
Student Council Member (9th-11th)
Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society)
I have been working for almost a year at Krogers and a local restaurant to pay for flying lessons.
I'm working on my Private Pilot License and will get that in a few months, on my 17th birthday.
And, I volunteer at my mom's school.

I have been playing 3 sports a year since the 7th grade. I am currently playing football, basketball, and running track.

How does it look for UM? I want to attend the engineering school and take part in the ROTC program. I'm hoping my interest in their ROTC program might give me a little edge, but we'll see. Thoughts on what I can do to improve?

I'd say your a match. The only thing I see lacking is your ACT score and even then it's not too much below avg and your GPA will make up for it cause U of M values GPA heavily

Alright sounds good. I have been studying and my mom knows a "genius" who offered to tutor me on the ACT. So hopefully I can at least get that up to a 30.
