Is weighted GPA your UC GPA (capped weighted)? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
Intended major?
No, it is 3.52, intended major is biological sciences. On my transcript my 10-12 weighted GPA is 4.02, is that not taken into consideration?
The GPA taken into consideration is the calculated UC GPA (capped weighted) not the GPA on your transcript since the UC’s have specific guidelines on which HS courses get the extra honors points. HS can designate any of their courses “Honors” but only the courses that are UC approved will be eligible for the honors points in the UC GPA calculation.
Based on information provided, what do you think my odds of getting accepted are?
UC GPA below the 25th percentile along with a lower than average SAT score. I would say UCI is a Low Reach depending upon major.
