Hey guys I’m a current Senior in California
South Asian Male (Bangladesh)
First Generation
GPA: 3.8750 weighted, 3.5417 Unweighted
Class Rank:130/644 (9-12) 95/644 (10-12) 34/644(12) (highly competitive large school in the city)
SAT: 1340
SAT II: Biology E:710 (self prep) / Math 2:780
Never took AP Biology, only honors Biology freshman year.
AP courses completed so far:
-Physics 1-2
-US history-4
-Psychology-5
APs- This Year
-Economics
-Government
-Calculus AB
Standard Exceeded for both English and Math sections on the CAASPP (11th grade)
Since I took 7 courses for 3 semester instead of the usual 6, I will have over 40 credits completed than the requirements to graduate.
The only reason why my GPA is low is because I did not have the best start to high school. Started with a 2.6 GPA first semester of high school and finished junior year with a 4.3 GPA. Five week report cards have come out for senior year and I currently have a 4.5 GPA.
My intended major is something within the brain and behavior or even such as Neuroscience, Neurobiology, Biopsychology, Cognitive Science, and Psychology.
I do plan to pursue Medical School.
