3.4 GPA with UC formula, since they only calculate 10th-11th grade (largely a result of sophomore year, where I did poorly in Spanish 2, got a 3.9 my junior year with a 5 in AP US History)
Documented disability, which I mentioned in the freshman prompt for the app. </p>

<p>I would’ve appreciated some responses. I know that the GPA and SAT don’t look so great initially, but my grades improved substantially from sophomore to junior year (along with the rigor of my classes) and I made significant progress with my disability through that time as well, so I am hoping for an outside chance. San Diego is my dream school (and I know that it is a big reach), with Irvine being my preferred 2nd choice. I also applied to Merced for a safety of sorts, since you increase your chances by applying to more schools.</p>
