Chances for UIUC, UCLA & Purdue Engineering?

hi! I am wondering if someone could chance me for UIUC, UCLA and Purdue for Computer Engineering or Computer Science?
GPA unweighted: 3.58 (slight upward trend)
GPA weighted: 4.376
ACT: 30 C but 31 superscored (32 in math)

3 AP classes last year, but I plan on taking 5 next year. For a total of 11 AP Classes my whole high school career.

I am an asian American female and am the first in my family to go to college if that makes a difference. I speak both Cantonese and English fluently and was born in California but now live in the suburbs of Chicago, IL and just finished off my junior year of high school.

I am very involved in things other than school as well. I am on my school’s dance team (spirit & competitive) which is 2 seasons and I am the captain of my team, lacrosse team, business club (1st in area competition and 5th in state), service club, president of ecology club, president of foreign exchange club, I was the 1st chair/section leader in band before I quit, student council, president’s club, teen advisory board at our local library, world language honor society, national honor society, robotics club and I was in a peer mentoring group. I also work, and volunteer at a hospital. I have done a precollege all girls computer science camp at UIUC. I am cofounding an all girls robotics team for my school next year, and am set to have an internship at an engineering company next summer. in the engineering class I am taking, I am also the team lead for all of our projects.

courses for my senior year:

  1. AP Literature & Composition
  2. AP Chemistry
  3. AP Calculus AB
  4. AP Stats
  5. AP Government & Economics
  6. Business Incubator
  7. Computer Integrated Manufacturing

thank you so much in advance!

UC GPA for UCLA? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

@Gumbymom 3.81 for UC GPA, but a fairly low percentage for my overall estimation of acceptance!

UCLA’s CS acceptance is around 10% or less so I would say a Reach based on UC GPA and ACT score. Chances fpr CE, probably not much better. Here are some examples of rejected CS applicants from this year:

Computer science, instate
Stats: 4.7/4.0/2310/800 in math 2, chem, and physics/34 ACT
Good ECs like nationals level science Olympiad and speech and debate

Major: Computer Science, in state
4.74/3.98 GPA
35 ACT
2310 SAT
800 Math 2 SAT

@Gumbymom thank you for the input! do you think I would have any better of a chance at USC or UC San Diego or would it be about the same?

Your UW GPA is still low for USC and along with your UC GPA for UCSD if you are applying as for Engineering/CS. Your best chances would be UCSC/UCR/UCSB and UCD if you are looking for UC’s. Even for UCD/UCI and UCSB, your UC GPA is below average since they are at 4.0+. UC’s are very GPA focused, but I think if you can afford to apply, then I would still give it a chance. It cannot hurt to have a few Reach schools on the list, just make sure you apply broadly and have a good range of Match/Safety and Reach schools on your list.
Your EC’s and essays can have an impact on your chances, but since it subjective, it is difficult to gauge how much.

Good Luck.
