chances for UMass?

Hey guys. I'm now a senior and I have been wondering about my chances for University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
GPA (UW)-3.4
GPA (weighted)-like 3.71 I believe
ACT-33 and hopefully in my next sitting I can shoot for higher.
APs: Computer science (4), physics b (5 and a self study), English language and comp (2 hahaha me no english).

ECs:
Softball Team (frosh and junior varsity for 9th and 10th grade)
Speech and Debate- two years
NHS- 1 year so far (in it again)
Video Games Club (president for two years and on the third)
Engineering Club (two years)

This isn't really part of school ECs but I am also a stand up comic and I perform at some of LA's most notable comedy clubs or night clubs. I wrote my common app essay and it centered around stand up comedy which so far my peers really like.

Senior Schedule:
Gov/econ
Honors comp sci-Python
English 4
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics

I'm hoping to pull up my gpa by the end of my 1st semester. So if I pull it up to a 3.5 will my chances improve? Also how is the financial aid and does UMass look at teacher recs? I think my teacher will write a very strong recommendation.

Sorry if I missed something. Its like 2:30 am and I’m really tired. Thanks anyway.

You’re in at UMA for sure. They accept down to a GPA of 2.0 on a sliding scale if GPA worries you so much.

What about for something like engineering though? I know spots for engineering are tougher to get but by how much? I don’t know whether to major in chemistry, math, or electrical engineering. I’m afraid that I will be rejected based on my major choice.

UMass Amherst: Safety (engineering accepts on a sliding scale)
