As far as the person that asked about living on campus, if PSU overbooked the dorms, students from State College lose dorm spots first. So you can request the dorms but about 100 centre county resident freshmen don't get to live in the dorms. It is a numbers game, I got lucky for living in town.

Last year local students were offered meal plan credits if they gave up their housing contracts; no one who had a contract "lost" it or had it taken away. (Only a handful of students took the offer.)

lol i cant beleive recordmusic got in. anyone with a 950 is a completely stupid and unintelligent. it's sad how retarded the PSU addmision is.

Its ashame that you feel that way imagenesis. To make a statement like that is totally stupid and unintelligent. Perhaps you should think about people that aren't good test takers or can't take the pressure of the whole SAT setting. I personally think that the SAT is a horrible system and I'm glad that PSU weights GPA more then SAT. A persons GPA is a way better reflection of their academic career then just how did they did on that one day. And I'm sure imagenesis that your the type of person that is going to correct my grammatical errors and say that I don't have an intelligence since I "slang" words. Good luck at Yale or Harvard or where ever you smart and intelligent kids that have 1600s on the SAT go.

ROFL what a retard. I believe your GPA was a 3.0 weighted, which makes you dumb and unintelligent. HAHAHA. Loser. get a life.

You're a tard, imagenesis. I believe that this individual is intelligent. Most likely, he or she (I didn't see any gender specified) did not receive the countless tutors, snooty private counselors, and yuppie parents that a lot of us are used to. I really think that he or she will shine in college, a lot more than someone as close-minded as you,

PSU may be harming students admitted with SATs significantly lower than the rest of the student body by setting them up for failure. GPAs are not a reliable indicator due to grade inflation at many schools and,in the case of Georgia for example, state wide grade inflation. SAT is the best equalizer we have and also best predictor of first year performance in college.

I would like to ask the OP if PSU has informed him of any remedial type classes or tutoring available to him. This is often offered to low scoring URMs and recruited athletes.

I think Whistle Pig's theory best explains it.

I have received no guidelines regarding remedial classes. Haven't registered for classes yet. I am starting in the summer.

Stupidity and intelligence are subjective. That means it is subject specific. You can be intelligent in some topics and stupid in others. One example would be you could be intelligent as far as taking the SAT but stupid in interpersonal relationships.

imagenesis, probably got rejected and had better stats than recordmusic. what a dumbass, just because hes ****ed off. life is like that buddy. congrads recordmusic.

hey my stats are simialar to record music.
