Chances for University of Florida, anyone?

Stats:
-GPA 3.821 UW/4.628 W
-In AICE program
-Rank 15 of 449, top 5% at a moderately competitive school
-32 ACT w/ writing 2nd test, 31 first try
-1870 SAT (Low, I know. It was my first and only attempt. Opted to retake the ACT for a higher score)
-9 APs by end of this year. Calc BC, Physics C, English Lit, and Chem senior year.

EC:
-Four year member of marching band and winter percussion ensemble. Leadership positions junior and senior year.
-NHS Senior year
-~60 Volunteer hours

Awards: Average or slightly below

Essay: Good

Other:
-Ethnicity is other/biracial (black and white)
-First generation college student
-Gender: male
-In state
-<30,000 income
- Listed major was aerospace engineering

Low match - then again UF is very irregular, regardless of major.

You have a good chance because UF really values your high rank, solid ACT scores, and rigorous schedule. It might also help that you are a first generation college student.

Thanks for the input. I always see these stories of people with better stats than me not getting into UF so I’m still a little worried.

Bump because I am desperate

I think you definitely have a really good chance because your gpa is really high, your rank is awesome and your sat is still in the range of the average sat current uf kids had, I know people with straight 1800s ant like 4.1 gpas who got in, good luck!

Your GPA is pretty high, from what I can tell for University of Florida. They wanted me to apply there and my GPA was only 3.3. (But pretty high SATs). Only thing that I would wonder about are the extra-curriculars. You don’t really have that many, but it’s good that you chose one thing and stuck with it.
I would even say that it’s a safety for you.
Please chance me!
