So, how are my chances for University of Michigan and Carnegie Mellon?

Thanks

I forgot something, I live in Michigan.

ACT scores are pretty low for these schools. Aim for 30+. Being in-state will help some, but your other stats are not extraordinary enough to get you in. Keep these schools as reaches, if you wish, but look towards other universities too.

Mech Eng? How about GeorgiaTech, VirginiaTech, UT Austin?

Thanks for the recommendations.

I have looked into the schools, that were recommended, and I liked what they offered

Thanks

good chance at umich, carnegie mellon is a slight reach/match
