Chances for UPenn Criminology?

So, UPenn is the only Ivy that offers criminology as a major - and they have a FANTASTIC criminology program. I'm hoping to apply Regular Decision this winter.
However, my overall cumulative GPA isn't great. My GPA junior year was a 4.0 (taking AP Enviro, Lang, Psych, World, IB Anthropology), but freshman and sophomore year I only did okay.

Cumulative unweighted GPA: 3.65
Cumulative weighted GPA: 4.35

ACT: 31
(English 30, Math 27, Reading 33, Science 33)

Extra-Curriculars:
For 8 years, I did acrobatic gymnastics, and was a 4-time national champion as well as a 4-time national team member. I also placed 7th at the World Championships.
I'm also captain of the varsity cheerleading team, and I also dive.
I have worked 2 part-time jobs to help pay for this. I teach kids gymnastics and I work at a local ice-cream store.

I know I'm not the most outstanding applicant out there, but I'm hoping that this major is fairly uncommon, and that will help out?

I believe applying as a criminology major will greatly increase your chances.

Are you recruitable as an athlete? That could help a lot.

Is U Maryland an option for you?

Thank you so much!

Wordworker: I’m a hoping to do college cheerleading, but usually colleges don’t recruit to cheerleaders, they try out once they’ve been accepted to the school.

Catria: Yes, UMD is one of the smarter choices for me. I’m in-state, so I get in-state tuition. The only downside is that it’s about 20 minutes from me, and a huge chunk of my high school goes there every year.

I asked about UMD as being an option since it could be more approachable for criminology than UPenn. Low match I’d say for that place. U Cincinnati is your true out-of-state safety.
