Due to a misunderstanding by an UTA officer, I couldn’t deliver all the documents by the deadline.
I’m an international student applying for undergraduate international transfer - psychology major.
Nationallity: Brazilian
Race: Latino/White (not sure what you guys consider latino lol)
GPA: 3.66/4.00 - UTA said they don’t convert international grades to a 4pt scale so my average is between A and B+ (A-, although they don’t consider A- for evaluating)/ never got a grade below B. 60+ credit hours
ECs: 1 year of work in real estate, 2 years assisting in research group, 6 months of tutoring at my current university, 6 months of volunteer work on research - that’s what I could fit in the applytexas form
Essays: TOPIC A (SoP); TOPIC E - Both are really good
Recommendation Letters: 2 letters from prestiged researchers and professors - they both have PhD and multiple publications abroad.
Given the fact that I’m technically a late application, what do you think my chances are? By the way it seems the board hasn’t started the reviewing process for apps yet.
