Internship for engineer at NASA LaRC and made significant changes to a computer code. Amazing reccomendation headed my way.

Internship for math professor at ODU for the summer and on the way to being published in a math journal once we finish our research, hopefully before college apps are sent away. Amazing reccomendation here too.

Sister went to UVA and older relatives went to William and Mary.

Do I have a chance at getting into any of these schools? Thanks, Hunter

You look fine. A better CR score would help, but you’ll probably get into one of the three.

Still, have safeties. None of these schools are guarantees.

what ethnicity are you?

Hunter sounds like a guys name so you are a shoe in for william and Mary [they do affirmative action for males].

A publication is crazy for a high schooler, which Hopkins really likes. My cousin goes there-he had 2180 and 3.9 but he did early decision which makes it a lot easier [boosts their enrollment rate from who they accepted]

UVA should also be easy, but you are probably looking to get into their honors program which would be more arduous.

Thanks for the chance! I would say that you are a great fit for all 3 but be cautious though cause it does get a bit random. Apply to safeties just in case, which im sure you’re doing already
